what's new

Greetings. Just a quick message to let you lot know about where we are at right now with organising the launch of üdio. The owners of Ditch Bar have gone AWOL so we're now looking into hosting the party at Gramaphone in Shoreditch. It's an intimate little venue with a great soundsystem and it already houses a couple of quality clubnights including Benji B's Deviation night. Suffice to say this is something we're very excited about, especially since the atmosphere of this place seems to be exactly what üdio requires and deserves..

Also, you might be pleased to hear that we are in the process of releasing a series of podcasts for your listening pleasure. I've just recorded the first one and we're adding some finishing touches to it right now, so it will be available for download shortly. The mix itself mainly comprises of a bunch of records that represent the diversity of sound that üdio will be trying to push as well as a few titbits that I'm currently listening to. Check back for more updates, get me.

This is the first post on the new üdio blog. We've set this up for us to let you know what's happening in the world of üdio. Ideally this will be a place where people who frequent the night and like what we're about can be the first to know about forthcoming parties, mixes and share the things we're feeling at the moment.
